After 5 years of speech therapy, learning ASL and obtaining a DynaVox (talking laptop computer) we have broken the verbal speaking barrier!!! That is right, Spencer is now talking!! The words are broken and as you can see from the video, the pronunciation is exaggerated but he is talking none the less. We are all SOO EXCITED!! He is getting really good with the C-V-C words like cup, dog and hat. Here is a short clip for all of you to hear.

Hey I got to hear him in real life. He is doing so well. It's fun to listen to him try any word. Keep is up. One day you'll want him to stop talking. I bet you can't wait for that.
